“MAD ABOUT [NYE OUTFIT] MONDAY”

…the party is over, but my outfit can be taken apart and recycle for many, many more occasions…and that’s a good start to a new year :-).

I found this lovely Free People chiffon pleated tank when I was Christmas shopping (for other people, but somehow always manage to find myself something)…

I paired it with my satin MNG shorts that I already have, and I added this cute Kate Spade Swiss Dot Tights

Then I found this blazer randomly at H&M so I decided to add it to the outfit…

For accessories – I chose to go with my Louboutin Bianca Patent Pumps and Kate Spade sparkly Gia Clutch (which is sold out everywhere…sadly)…

…added some rocking mani (OPI Gel) and pedi (Chanel) by my fave manicurist

To add a bit more edge to the outfit to balance out the sweetness of the blouse and the polka dots, I added a Banana Republic multi-chain choker…

…and here’s what I ended up with…

Not your typical NYE party dress, but who says you have to wear a dress on NYE?

Cheers to a brand new year~

“TREND TUESDAY [BLUSHING BEAUTIES]”

…I’m not sure when it happened, but it sorta crept up on me some time last year.  Everywhere I looked, there was something in rose gold, and I’m totally falling for these lovely, rosy, shiny, metallic accessories.  The first of these lovelies that caught my eye are these Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps….

Ah-maz-ing, right?  Totally in love.  I saw them a while ago in one of the emails I get daily from Saks.  I finally ordered a pair.  Hopefully, they will fit because I love them so much!

I also saw this Michael Kors watch a while back, and it took me several weeks to justify purchasing it since I wanted a gold one originally, but the rose gold is so much prettier.  I have to say, it was worth it.  I wear this nearly everyday.

So everywhere I go now, my eyes tend to search for something rose gold.  These are some other blushing beauties I found…

Eddie Borgo Rose Gold Pyramid Cut-Out Cuff and Pyramid Ring from net-a-porter

Fabulous, right?  You know my obsession with everything pyramid.  I love them!

Avanessi Rose Gold Love Ring from Max&Chole.  I always wanted a “LOVE” ring.  This is a bit pricey so I’ll keep looking.Halston Heritage Rose Gold Jenny Clutch from My Wardrobe

And I love these Tiffany‘s Rose Gold Keys

Don’t let the blushing pink tone scare you.  It may seem hard to accessorize with these if you’re not a “pink” person, but I would treat them as regular gold accessories.  Although, they are so much more modern and refreshing.

Love~

“MAD ABOUT [ALL THINGS NAUTICAL] MONDAY”

…I’m back!  Gosh, it’s so hard to get back to blogging after taking a few days off.  I was so un-inspired (+ super tired from my trip).  Luckily, I got a burst of inspiration from a birthday party I attended this past Friday…and the theme was NAUTICAL!  I totally loved it!  Everyone dressed up, and it was so festive!

For my outfit (on the right):  Top – Bebe White Satin Bustier (Summer 2007), Sailor Shorts – Kaitlyn, Shoes – Christian Louboutin, Multi-strands Necklace – Bloomingdales, Gold Bangles – H&M, Sailor Hat – Amazon (with Gold Anchor Button from Jo-Ann sewn on)

Then I got all inspired to search for all things nautical since I had to put my outfit together.  These items are so perfect for the summer.  Fab~

And if I had more time to prep for the party…I totally wish I had done my mani just like this!

“TREND TUESDAY [STACKED RINGS]”

…no, I’m still not over my huge, chunky cocktail rings just yet…but I’m slowly gravitating towards these dainty, delicate stacked rings.  I love stacking my bracelets, and this is simply an evolution of this chic concept.  Totally fabulous.

I fell in love with this set from Henri Bendel.

But Bendel also has many other beautiful stackable ring sets.  Love them all.

However, they can be a bit pricey (~$68-$88 per set) so I looked around and found a few more affordable options…

This set is from Urban Outfitters.

These are by Top Shop.

Pretty cool, right?

Happy Stacking~

“I WISH…”

…this were my jewelry drawer.  Ever since I saw this image, I feel like my was-once organized jewelry drawer has been put to shame.

I’m so inspired to revamp the way I organize my jewelry/accessories using these beautiful bowls from Anthropologie or other vintage bowls.  Lovely, right?
